the missing

How to reach young people (13-25 years) with important Health and Safety messages? This is the challenge the British Safety Council faced with their Speak Up, Stay Safe campaign so they came to us for the solution. The answer is to get the important information directly into the palms of their hands via The Missing - A Dangerous Truth a Cause-Related Entertainment based app devised by Digital Giving Ltd.

ampersand I'm very proud of the fact that the Paralympic Games were born on the day of the Opening Ceremony of the London 1948 Olympic Games, when a wheelchair archery competition was arranged at Stoke Mandaville hospital for WW II soldiers with spinal cord injuries.  An archery gold medal is still contested for along with 20 other Paralympic sports.

London 2012 is the first Games where the Paralympic and Olympic Games are being organised together. This means that all Games Makers, including me, will be volunteering during both events in the London 2012 Games.

I've just received my shift pattern and am to be at the opening and closing ceremonies for the Paralympic Games as well as the Olympic Games. i feel so privileged to have been given this opportunity. What an amazing summer to look forward to as the April showers pour down.

I've now received my invitation to collect my uniform and have been sent my volunteering shifts for the Olympic Games. As I wrote the dates in my diary it suddenly became tangible - I'll be there. My shifts include the opening and closing ceremonies and a few days before and after too.

Just 3 days after I join my friends to welcome the Olympic Torch as it comes through Petersfield, I'll be at the Olympic Park helping to deliver the greatest show on earth.  It's very exciting - a little scary but most of all a fabulous opportunity and an experience I'm sure the rest of the Games Makers and I will never forget.

Looking forward to our next training session which will be held in the Main Media Centre at the Olympic Park when we'll have the chance to test out the facilities as well as ourselves.

All my partnership skills will be put to the test as I join 249,999 fellow partners in the journey to London 2012.

Having been selected as a Games Maker for the Media and PR Team I’ve just attended the first of a series of training sessions to help staff, contractors and 75,000 volunteers, like me, connect to form one of the biggest partnerships in the world to deliver one of the biggest events in the world.
